Job summary

Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will help co-ordinate and supervise the company’s regional contracting operations, ensuring people, equipment and material resources, are delivering the contracting requirements, in a timely cost-effective manner and in accordance with the company’s various safety, health, environment and quality policies. As well as operational duties there will be an element of responsibility for assisting in the generation of contract sales and liaison with key account customers.

Main accountabilities / responsibilities

Accountable with the OM/RBM for the efficient programming and delivery of the planned and reactive operational works board. 

Engage, control and document site resources and site operations – including operative performance, sub-contractor services, installation processes, quality, H&S, efficiency and waste reduction – ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the commercial allowances.

Appropriate and complete utilization of company management software program (MSP) and other company processes to properly record and manage employees and workload. 

Completing, checking and uploading of works delivery record sheets and performance monitoring forms in accordance with Company best practices.

Direct liaison with the customer base and ensuring site performance delivers client satisfaction.

Involvement in strategic planning for continuous improvement and business opportunity assessments.

Specific areas

Direct contract supervision and liaison with all employees, suppliers and intercompany departments to ensure resources are available and appropriately utilised to maximise efficiency and deliver targets.

Regular (daily) working contact with NOM and commercial team to ensure the correct resources are allocated and outputs from all site operations are delivered, in accordance with the cost allowances.  

Ensure site operatives maintain, respect and secure company property and equipment at all times.

Undertake site surveys to promote the most beneficial use of Company products and services. 

Attend external & internal meetings – contributing to and reporting on Company performance aims.

Improve employee capability and performance, prevent defective works and maintain forecast outputs.
